this is Alice, Sicilian designer and ceramic explorer based in the Bronx.

This ceramic work, for me, feels both new and ancient, is a way of making tangible those connections that time keeps taking from me.

A practice rooted in perseverance, sensitivity, and a constant sense of fascination.

In the act of making, it becomes a repetition that lasts as long as the material allows or until it breaks, then I begin again.

Questo della ceramica per me é un progetto nuovo, ma anche antico, dove cerco di materializzare quelle connessioni che il tempo mi strappa di mano. É un progetto di perseveranza, delicatezza e costante fascinazione. Nell'atto pratico é una ripetizione che dura quanto vuole la materia, poi si rompe, quindi si inizia da capo.
